TOUGHIE

LIVE AT NANNA’S HOUSE

SET DESIGN - ART DIRECTION - STILLS

Worked with the band and video crew to create a look and feel for the session videos. This also included navigating everyone’s position in the space to account for technical and visual logistics.

The set design and propping was a combination of preexisting decor and personal items brought in by band members. There was also a signifiant amount of furniture rearranging and using as many practical lights as possible.

Portraits and behind the scenes photos were used as promo photos on social media and were used in real time on Instagram during a takeover I did of the bands page during production

A LIGHT COLLECTION

CREATOR - CONTRIBUTOR

At the beginning of 2020, former Rocket Mortgage creative director challenged my team (the marketing photo team) to create a gallery exhibition. This gallery would be an opportunity to showcase and share not only the marketing work of the photo team, but also the photography talents of team members from the organization.

The original intent was to host a gallery exhibition in person — Then Covid-19 happened. After a couple months of working from home, we eventually reimagined the gallery for a virtual space. We also saw this as an opportunity to embody our For More Than Profit philosophy and use our platform to support the incredible community work of Darkroom Detroit . We created a virtually gallery to capture the closest possible experience of being at an in-person exhibition. I was directly involved in the creation of the custom Squarespace website, the virtual gallery site, and contributing my own photographs for display.

THE LIVING ROOM SESSIONS

CREATOR- DIRECTOR - EDITOR

A three-part series of live music recordings and coinciding live music videos from local acts. Each series consisted of numerous performances, and each was held in a different living room with a limited number of attendees permitted.

I oversaw directing the 2+ DPs we had on each set while also simultaneously filming myself. I would handle the organization of the footage to then edit and color grade.

PORTRAIT POP UP

CREATOR - PHOTOGRAPHER - EDITOR

Quarterly portrait pop up held in downtown Los Angeles. Time, price, and location varies each quarter with an emphasis on creating meaningful connections with the subject at an attainable price. Portraits range from headshots and lifestyle images, to musician promos, product photography and everything in between.
